The Sweetlix® Stocker Max family of minerals is formulated to provide essential minerals and vitamins to maximize the performance of stocker cattle and pasture cattle. The Stocker Max line is fully weatherized with RainBloc® and has superior palatability.
Thoroughly mix 500 lbs. of SWEETLIX® Stocker Max MON1200 Mineral with 1,500 lbs. of non-medicated feed. Feed one pound of this medicated mixture to provide 150 mg monensin. Cattle should receive not less than 50 mg nor more than 200 mg monensin per head per day fiin not less than 1 lb. of feed or, after the fth day at the rate of 400 mg per head per day every other day in not less than 2 lb. of feed. During the first 5 days of feeding, cattle should receive no more than 100 mg monensin per day in not less than 1 lb. of feed
CAUTION: Use as directed. Do not allow horses or other equines access to feed containing monensin. Ingestion of monensin by equines has been fatal. Monensin-medicated cattle and goat feeds are safe for use in cattle and goats only. Consumption by unapproved species may result in toxic reactions. Feeding undiluted or mixing errors resulting in high concentrations of monensin has been fatal to cattle and could be fatal to goats. Must be thoroughly mixed in feeds before use. Do not feed undiluted. Do not exceed the levels of monensin recommended in the feeding directions, as reduced average daily gains may result. Do not feed to lactating goats. Consumption of selenium should not exceed 0.7 mg per head daily. The addition to feed of higher levels of this premix containing selenium is not permitted.
